H.R. 3644: Ocean, Coastal, and Watershed Education Act

America has a problem with pollution. We need to educate people of the effects of pollution. So, this bill offers two programs to help with marine pollution: the Environmental Literacy Grant Program and regional programs under the B-WET Program. So, what do these programs do?

Environmental Literacy Grant Program:
A grant, offering financial assistance to expand and encourage education, build administrative and technical capacity to communities and stakeholders to enhance effectiveness, and encourage water and wildlife dependant outdoor recreations to promote stewardship and economic development.

B-WET Program:
A grant program to promote bay-watershed education, professional development and training for educators. Priority given to the the following areas" US territories, Great Lake States, Alaska, and the mid-Atlantic region.
